So, I've been inspired.
Trust me however, I'm not a poet. My prose is simple, honest, and full of typos. But, I feel the need to reconnect with myself and "my people". Hardly unique in theory, but no two people in the world will every write the same thing and I don't think that the four people who may read this blog will ever negatively critique my content for originality.
If they do, I may have to "punch them in the face", as my dear friend Sarah likes to say. Does she still say this? I'm going to say yes. Our new mantra: "Peace, love, and punch you in the face". Say it out loud, it will make you laugh a little and you'll feel better. We can always feel better, right?
It's a beautiful day today. The sun is out and the birds are singing, and like the cheesy Partridge family song, I feel like shouting (shouting/singing like kids in elementary school performances), "come on get happy!". The rain will come soon enough and I have to take advantage. I think that I'll plant bulbs and take my little Ginger colored friend for a walk. I've just finished my bowl of cereal. It's going to be a good day.
